Privacy Policy
Last updated: July 15, 2026
ProdJex Garage ("we", "us") operates the website prodjexgarage.com, a personal showcase of vehicle build projects. This policy explains what information we handle and how.
Who this applies to
The public site is read-only for visitors. Administrative features (creating projects, uploading media, and publishing videos) are restricted to the site owner, who signs in with Google.
Information we handle
- Owner sign-in: when the owner signs in with Google, we receive their email address to confirm they are authorized. We do not sign in visitors.
- Project content and media: vehicle details, text updates, photos, and videos the owner uploads. Media files are stored on Amazon S3.
- Server logs: standard technical logs (such as IP address and request time) used to operate and secure the site.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not collect personal information from visitors beyond the standard server logs above.
YouTube API Services
ProdJex Garage uses YouTube API Services to upload the owner's videos to the owner's
own YouTube channel and to display those videos on this site. Specifically, it uses the
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/youtube.upload scope, which allows uploading
videos to the authenticated owner's channel and nothing else.
- We only access the account the owner explicitly authorizes, and only to upload videos and record the resulting video links.
- We do not access, read, or store any other YouTube account data or any other user's YouTube data.
- The owner can revoke this application's access at any time via the Google security settings page (https://myaccount.google.com/permissions).
By using this application you agree to be bound by the YouTube Terms of Service. Your use of Google data is subject to the Google Privacy Policy. This application's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Data storage and retention
Project data is stored in a MongoDB database; media originals are stored on Amazon S3; published videos are hosted on YouTube. We retain this content for as long as the project is displayed on the site. Google credentials (a refresh token authorizing uploads) are stored securely on the server and are used only to upload on the owner's behalf.
